Our family began on June 1, 2002 when Chris and I got married.
A year and a half later, we added our first child, albeit furry, to our family. Stella was six weeks old when she joined our household.
Then, on October 3, 2006, our son Henry was born, all 9 pounds, 6 ounces of him!
Chris works for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship as a short-terms missions coordinator. I have no idea what that means, so you’ll have to ask him yourself if you’re interested. I am a stay-at-home Mom who also writes grants for a non-profit organization called Georgia Family Council.
When Chris isn’t working or wrestling with Henry, he is cooking, doing yard work or working at his antique shop (PLUG: Visit Happy’s Antiques and ask for Kit’s booth!) When Laurie isn’t writing or chasing after Henry, she is reading, writing children’s’ books and planning the family’s next vacation.
We love to hang out with friends and family, as well as travel. We have been to some beautiful places in the world together including France, Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, Niagra Falls, Chicago, Salt Lake City and New York. But, our favorite place will forever be St. Simons Island on the coast of Georgia.
We love our life and invite you into it. Here are some more recent pictures of our family.
